Create a sync operations note type

Whenever your organization performs a data sync, it’s important to track what operations were carried out on a constituent record. To do this effectively, you can use a note type specifically created for tracking sync activity.

Step 1: Log in to Altru

  • Log in to Altru.
  • Click on “Administration”.
  • Click on “Code tables”.

Step 2: Create the note type

  • Filter the category of the note type to Biographical.
  • Click on "Apply" for the filter to take effect.
  • Click on “Constituent note type” under the "Code table name" column.
  • Click on “Add”.
  • Enter the description for your note type, then click "OK”.
  • Example: "Sync Operations - Data Bridge - SGS".

You now have a newly created note type to add to a particular constituent record.
