Membership Revenue Report

Use the Google Sheet widget in Data Bridge to generate a Membership revenue report for the year. This displays data from the previous year for comparison.

The membership revenue report helps analyze and compare revenue for the current year and the past year. Revenues per membership level (non-gift and gift) are listed for further analysis.

Step 1: Create a query

  • Click on “Analysis” in Altru.
  • Click on “Information Library”.
  • Click on “Add an ad-hoc” query.
  • Click on “Revenue” query type.
  • Click on “OK”.
Include records where:
Application Details\Application is equal to Membership
and Sales Order\Sales Order Item\Sales Order Item Membership\Membership\Membership level is not blank
and Application Details\Date added is this calendar year
Results fields to display:
Application Details\Designationid
Application Details\Date added
Application Details\Amount
Sales Order\Sales Order Item\Sales Order Item Membership\Membership\Membership level
Sales Order\Sales Order Item\Sales Order Item Membership\Membership\Is gift
Sales Order\Sales Order Item\Sales Order Item Membership\Membership\Membershipprogramname

Save the query

  • Click on the "Preview results".
  • Verify that the number of rows/records is less than 15k.
  • Click on the "Set save options".
  • Name your query with “- SGS” at the end (Example: eTicket confirmation email - SGS).
  • On the bottom right, click on "Save and close".

Export the query

  • Click on the "Get OData link".
  • Copy the OData link to use in the next step.

Step 2: Create a new Data Bridge using the Google Sheets Connection Steps

Step 3: Prepare and set up your Google Sheet

Make a copy of the Google Sheet Membership Revenue Report Template.

Step 4: Guide Sheet

  • Copy the direct link from your Data Bridge widget settings and paste it to the Guide sheet
  • Copy the username from the widget settings and paste it to the Guide sheet
  • Copy the password from the widget settings and paste it to the Guide sheet

Step 5: Generate Report

  • In the Query results sheet, click on Download data
  • View the generated report in the Report sheet

How long does it take to SYNC over a list?

This depends on the size of your list; for example, if your list size is 1,000 contacts, it takes five minutes to complete the sync process.
