Create a link to a ticket design
If the PDF or QR code options are not viable options, you can directly link to tickets by following the steps below.
Step 1:
- Click on “Development”
- Click on “Ticket Designer”
- Select your design
Step 2:
- Click on “Designer”
- Click on “Open in a new tab” option
- Copy the URL from the browser
Step 3:
- Remove the extra parts from the URL.
- Remove preview=true&window=true&
- The link looks like this https://xxxx.socialgoodsoftware.com/tickets?template=xxxx
Step 4:
- Update the link to add the id for the sales order
- Add this to the past part of the link &guid=%id%
- Your link now looks like this https://xxxx.socialgoodsoftware.com/tickets?template=xxxx&guid=%id%
- Where %id% is the system record id for the sales order as a merge field
Step 5:
- Find the email you would like to add the link to
- Click on “Designer”
- Add a link and paste in your link
