Constituent records with a primary email address

Constituents, with a primary email address noted in the record, provide the most direct way to communicate with the constituent.

Recommendations:

  • Constituent Matching Settings - Webforms.
  • Enable the additional matching criteria feature.
  • “Ignore additional matching criteria if first name, last name, and email address match exactly”.

Option 2:

  • Enable the 100% match merging option.
  • “Process automatically - Matched constituents”.

Option 3:

  • Run the 100% match merging option in Altru manually.
  • Decide if the configuration needs to be revised.
  • Set up an automatic 100% constituent match-merge to run every day
  • Dedupe the remaining constituent records using the Deduper application
  • Determine who the email address belongs to
  • Detach the email address from the husband or wife
