Connecting the scanner to a network

When you’re setting up your Ticket Scanner at your organization, there are two simple ways to connect it to the network:

Option 1: Connect to a Wi-Fi Network

This is the most common option and works like the Wi-Fi you use at home. You can connect your scanner to either a private or public Wi-Fi network. This method is secure and reliable, ensuring that your scanner will stay connected.

Option 2: Use a Cellular Network (SIM Card)

If you don’t want to rely on Wi-Fi, you can use a cellular network, just like your smartphone does. This requires a SIM card, which you can get by contacting a mobile service provider. Our scanners work with any provider that supports the GSM network (which most do), and you can even insert two SIM cards if you want to have options.

Please keep in mind that the network itself (whether Wi-Fi or cellular) isn’t provided by us. You’ll need to coordinate with a network provider to get connected.

If you’re having trouble connecting the scanner, make sure you’re on the correct network with the right password, or that you have an active GSM network connection.
