Member Portal subdomain name

Setting up a subdomain for the Member Portal provides members with a dedicated, user-friendly URL for authentication and account access.

warning

Do not use the primary domain name such as organization.org instead use a subdomain name like secure.organization.org. Professional Plan or higher is required to set up a Member Portal.

Step 1: Add the domain name

  • Log in to the application.
  • Click on the profile icon on the top right side of the navigation bar.
  • Click on the “Domain” option.
  • Click on the “Web domain” tab.
  • Click on “+ Add domain name.”
  • Click on the “Add domain” button.
  • CNAMEs are generated.

Step 2: Copy and paste into the domain administrator page

  • Copy and paste CNAME 1.
  • Copy and paste CNAME 2.
  • Click on “Verify all records”.

Technical assistance from an IT team or system administrator is required if the domain registrar access is limited. Instructions for the setup process can be shared via email, following these steps:

  • Click on “Send Email”.
  • Type in the Name and Email address.
  • Click on “Send Email”.

Proxy status: DNS only (do not enable proxy)

Step 3: Update the domain

  • Click on the three dots icon associated with the domain to update.
  • Select: view, verify domain, or delete.
  • To delete, click on the “Remove” button.
