Setting a Calendar to public access
The public calendar setting controls whether a calendar is accessible on the open internet. When a calendar is marked as public, it becomes accessible to anyone online via an embed or direct link. This is useful when placing a calendar on a publicly visible web page, such as your website.
The public setting applies to calendars embedded using the provided embed code and direct calendar links.
Embedded calendars require the public setting to be turned on. Without this, embedded calendars may fail to load properly and may display a “calendar loading” message. Direct calendar links remain private by default.
