Subject line:

Subject line of the email.

From name:

The email sender’s name or organization name.

From address:

The sent-from email address.

Reply to address:

The email address for recipient replies.

CC address:

The email address that is CC’d when sent.

BCC address:

The email address that is BCC’d when sent.

Tags:

Unique identifiers to group with other emails.

Start sending emails:

Enables the email to begin sending to recipients.

Automatically generate eTicket numbers:

Created for eTicket emails, this automatically creates eTicket numbers.

Automatically attach eTicket PDF:

Automatically attaches the PDF of the recipient's tickets.

Digital membership card:

Allows you to create Digital Membership Card links in the grid.

Email the same recipient more than once:

Sends email to the same recipient more than once.

warning

If you enable this option, you need to have your note types configured correctly and use a relative to date email.

Add OData links button:

The button to add your OData link to the email. Limited to one (1) OData link.

Red circle button:

Removes your OData link from the email. This does not remove the OData link from Altru, only the email.

OData links section:

Shows the link and name of your OData link.

Ticket Design:

A dropdown that shows all ticket designs previously created in Ticket Designer.

Frequency:

A dropdown that shows the time-options that emails can be sent. Emails can be sent immediately, at a specific time, or relative to a date.

  • Immediately: Send email right away using note type.
  • Specific time: Send email at a specific time using a note type.
  • Relative to date: Send email relative to a specific date. Note type not required.

Email Types:

Transactional, Membership, or Reservation.

Email address:

Maps the Email Address based on your query.

Note type:

Selection of a note type based on your query.

System record ID:

The System record ID for a sales order, membership, or reservation. This is necessary for adding a copy of the email back into the constituent’s record in Altru and prevent sending the same email again.

Grouping key:

Unique identifier to group similar rows of data together. For example, system record ID for a sales order groups all the items in the sales order into one email.

Grouped fields:

Fields selected to be grouped based on the grouping key.

Grid:

Display the items grouped in a grid with a table.

  • Merge fields available: All merge fields that can be used in the email content.
  • Header, grid, footer: A setting where clicking on “Load default” will automatically set up the header, grid, and footer in the email for you.
  • Save Settings button: A button that saves all changes.

Buttons:

  • Archive: Moves the email to an archived email and no longer an active email.
  • Remove: Removes the email along with the activity history.
  • Clone: Makes a copy of the email without the query or the activity.
  • Save Settings: Saves any changes made to the email.
